I wanted to share this short film with you. My sister-in-law in Hungary teaches at an elementary school in a town called Gyomro which is just outside of Budapest. She sent me this link. The students were totally devasted learning about the war in Ukraine. Not only did they collect boxes of clothes, food, cleaning equipment and whatever else was needed but they decided to make this film. All of the film is done by the students, including the music, with the help of their computer science teacher. Please remember this is an elementary school and the kids are mostly between 6-8th grade. The film really shows how war impacts children – this could be anywhere, really.
Thank you for watching.
