Is it Greve or Greve in Chianti?
Actually, both terms refer to the same city. Located on the Greve river, the city of Greve in Tuscany amended its name to Greve in Chianti in 1972 to enhance its association an importance
in the wine-producing region of Chianti, within the larger region of Tuscany in Italy. You still see both names used.
