The Sonoma-Penglai Sister City Committee is collaborating with the Sonoma Community Center to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon) on Saturday, March 2nd. This afternoon of celebration will feature a variety of workshops, educational presentations, and live performances. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. Sonoma City Councilman Jack Ding will host a demonstration of Chinese Calligraphy. Then stay to watch a lively demonstration of music, poetry, and music brought to you by the Redwood Empire Chinese Association at 5:00 p.m.
This is a free event, open to all and all ages. We hope to see you there.
