The SSCA/Kaniv Committee has received an amazing donation of a collection of authentic Orthodox Icons purchased in Poland and Eastern Europe during the 1960’s and 70’s. These beautiful icons range in age from the 19th century to modern times, and encompass classic to folk styles. All proceeds from this auction will benefit our Sister City Kaniv, which has been the home for over 4000 internally displaced refugees seeking safety from the war-torn areas of Eastern Ukraine since the invasion began in 2022.

These icons will be on display at M. Lowe Jewelers, 450-C 1st Street East (directly across from the Sonoma Visitors Center) through December 18th. The auction also includes some beautiful specimens of amber jewelry as well. The auction closes at 9:00am on December 19th, and the successful bidders will be notified after closing.
