On an overcast Saturday in April of 2019, SSCA sponsored a lunch and historic tour of the Plaza, to 30 students and teachers visiting from Limoges, France. The students were hosted by the Sonoma Valley High School Agricultural Technology Academy for a two-week visit. SSCA provided Mary’s Pizza, quiche, cookies and drinks. The semi-rainy outdoor luncheon was attended by Board Members Diana Short and her husband Mike, Andre Piquet (who was a wonderful translator), and SSCA President George McKale. George McKale then provided a short historic tour of the Plaza.
