Many thanks to everyone who supported the Sonoma-Kaniv fundraiser held this past Tuesday on October 25th at the El Verano Inn. The evening was a wonderful gathering with great food courtesy of Jacob’s in Sonoma, wonderful live music thanks to Zigzag, and a rollicking auction conducted by Byron Nichols and Hunt Bailey. The crowd also heard the latest communication from Kaniv’s Mayor Ihor Renkas, to the people of Sonoma, writing that “Your assistance has been the single most important thing we have received.”
To date, this event has raised $14,815. The Sonoma-Kaniv Sister City Committee is grateful to you and the community for unwavering support in this time of need.
