Back by popular demand, the Sonoma-Greve Sister City Committee, in partnership with Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, is pleased to welcome back art historian Alexandra Lawrence for her take on “Saints & Sinners: A Look at the Papal Politics Behind Three of Tuscany’s Most Famous Figures -St. Catherine of Siena, Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei.” Alexandra is also a university instructor at several American and British universities, while also serving as a specialized private tour guide in Florence, Italy. You may remember her talk last year about female artists of the Italian Renaissance. The lecture will be held on Saturday, August 4 at 3:00 pm in the Barrel Room of Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, 24724 Arnold Drive, Sonoma. Based on the popularity of last year’s presentation, we highly recommend that you purchase tickets in advance.
General admission is $25 and includes a glass of wine.
