100% Proceeds Go to Ukraine

Sonoma, CA– The Friends of Kaniv and Sonoma Sister Cities Association (SSCA) invite you to a “Dinner for Ukraine” held at the Sonoma Community Center on Friday, May 20th. The first seating will be at 5:30 p.m. and the second seating will be at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at https://givebutter.com/DinnerforUkraine.

The dinner will feature dishes “inspired” by Ukrainian cuisine, along with Landmark wines.

We would like to thank the following sponsors:  Rotary Club of Sonoma, Landmark Vineyards, and the Sonoma Community Center for their donations of food, wine, and venue, respectively.

100% of the proceeds go to support the people of Kaniv through the Kaniv Friendship Association.   Please know that the money our community raises is being put to great use and is very much appreciated.   On March 25th, SSCA President Diana Short received this message:

“This money is at the disposal of the mayor, who during the war acts as the head of the military administration of Kaniv. They will be used to finance the needs of territorial defense, the purchase of medicines and assistance to refugees who arrive in Kaniv from areas where hostilities are currently taking place.

On behalf of the Kaniv Friendship Association, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you and the members of your Association for your very important work and solidarity with Ukraine.

With respect and friendship,

Anatoly Leontyev,

President of the Kaniv Friendship Association”

SSCA is a registered 501 (3) (c) which means that your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

With only 80 tickets per seating, we expect this event will be sold out, so buy your tickets now.
