The Sonoma/Chambolle-Musigny Sister City Committee welcomed visitors from France in mid-July.  Renowned Vintner Francois Millet and his wife Michelle enjoyed  games of Petanque and a tour/tasting at VJB Winery, courtesy of Committee C0-Chair Vic Aul.  Francois and Michelle are visiting with producers of pinot noir  throughout California, Oregon, and Washington during their six week visit to the West Coast.  Earlier this year, they hosted SSCA President Stephanie Fine in January and also Joan Toth and her husband John Meyers in March in their home in Chambolle.  SSCA is pleased to reaffirm our relationship with the Burgundian town, as we remember that this was our first Sister City connection created in December 1959.

Visitors from Chambolle-Musigny hosted by Vic Aul, SSCA French Committee Chair, at VJB Winery in Kenwood, during their visit in July. L-R: Francois Millet, Vic, Oksana Sorowski, Michelle Millet, and SSCA Board Member Andrew Sorowski.
