The Tuscany area is home to a variety of ancient Etruscan and Roman ruins, as well as more modern historical buildings.
If you’re interested in ancient sites, visit the Tombe de l’Archer, which is an Etruscan burial site dating back to the 7th century B.C.
Going forward in time, consider a visit to Verrazzano Castle, which stands on a 1000 year-0ld estate, known for wine and olive production. The castle itself was built sometime in the 7th century A.D. You can book a variety of tours of the castle and the grounds, some of which include wine and olive oil tasting.
