Chamson and the Sonoma Sister Cities Association Reunite under the SSCA Umbrella
SONOMA, CA – May 28, 2015
Chamson, the organization dedicated to the promotion of the relationship between the City of Sonoma and the French city of Chambolle-Musigny, is pleased to announce its reunion with the Sonoma Sister Cities Association. For the past several years, Chamson has pursued its sister-city relationship independently; a series of recent discussions highlighted the mutual benefit of working together under the umbrella of one sister city organization.
“This has been a gradual, thoughtful process addressing promotional and managerial issues. The first and most immediate effect of the merger is that our various committees can now cross-promote local events and ideas that support the mission of Sister Cities International, the parent organization headquartered in Washington, D.C.” according to Farrel Beddome, President of SSCA.
