The Sonoma-Kaniv Sister City Committee invites to a reception welcoming Denys Ardrushchenko to our city. Denys is a dynamic young man who is in the U.S. to attend the Young Leadership Conference in Washington DC sponsored by the U.S. State Department. Since the beginning of the war, Denys has been working with Santa Rosa Rotary on humanitarian projects and is currently helping Kaniv to start a Rotary Club there. Denys is a dynamic English speaker and will have first-hand knowledge of the humanitarian war efforts in Ukraine including the work the Santa Rosa and Cherkassy Rotary clubs have done together to provide hundreds of professional quality first-aid kits for front-line regional forces and generators for local Ukrainian schools and refugee centers.
The reception will be held on Monday, October 23th/6:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 252 West Spain Street, Sonoma.
