The Sonoma – Greve in Chianti Sister City Committee will hold a kick-off meeting (no host bar/food) on Sunday, June 26 at 4:00 pm at Mary’s Pizza Shack on CA-12 in Boyes Hot Springs. After several years of inactivity, the Committee is ready to resume its mission of celebrating all things Italian- including food, wine, and the customs and traditions of Sonoma’s Italian heritage.
Come learn about the Sister City connection and share your experience of Italian culture.
Greve in Chianti is Sonoma’s Sister City in the Tuscany Region of Italy. The Sister City partnership was signed in August 1983. Past activities included student exchanges, delegation visits, art exhibits, participation in Vintage Festivals, and fabulous dinners /cultural experiences, including language lessons and movie viewings.
