The Sonoma-Greve in Chianti Sister City Committee invites you to participate in any, and all, of the following events:

August 13

Sonoma Stompers vs Pittsburg Diamonds Fundraiser on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 6:00 pm.  The game will be held at Peoples Home Equity Ballpark at Arnold Field, 180 First Street West.   Tickets are $14 each with reserved seating in the Gus the Bus Garden along the third base line. Tickets may be purchased by contacting Mike Short at 707-227-7345 or sonomawineguy@yahoo.com.  Last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, August 9th.

August 16

Lecture by Alexandra Lawrence, a specialized private tour guide in Florence, Italy and a university instructor at several American and British universities.  Alexandra’s lecture entitled, “Rethinking Women: A Look at Female Painters and Poets in Renaissance Italy”, will be held on Wednesday, August 16 at 6:00 pm in Stone Hall of Vintage House Senior Center, 264 First Street East, Sonoma.  A suggested donation of $10 will be accepted at the door.  Refreshments will be served.  For additional information, visit:

August 22

The Sonoma-Greve in Chianti Sister City partnership was signed on August 22, 1983.  To celebrate our 34th Anniversary, we invite the community to meet our members at the Tuesday night farmer’s market on the Sonoma Plaza. We’ll be there at 5:00 pm, located near the Bear Flag Monument in the NE corner.  Just look for the red, white and green pennant flags. Bring your wine glass and we’ll share a taste of the last wine made by the Greve Sister City Committee.  Picnicking is welcome.  Fresh produce and prepared foods are available for purchase at the market.
