Since 2012, the Sonoma-Tokaj Sister City Committee has been an instrumental force in joining our two historic wine cities together through specific programs helping Sonoma and Tokaj wine interns learn about each respective wine region.  This year, the Committee will be helping to defray the costs of bringing two Tokaj wine students to Sonoma to work the wine harvest at local wineries.  With housing difficult to find this year, the Committee is seeking help from our community:  anyone with a spare room, an apartment, or a house willing to rent to a Tokaj wine intern please contact our Co-Chair Sylvia Toth.

These Hungarian wine students speak English, and can pay for their lodging.  Anywhere between the town of Sonoma and Santa Rosa would be ideal.  The two male interns are each 23 years old, and are acquainted with each other, so they are willing to share a space.
